Abodo Among Outstanding Calibre of Finalists – NZ Export Awards

We’re thrilled to be among the finalists of ‘outstanding calibre’ in the 2017 Air New Zealand Cargo Export NZ Awards.

More specifically, as finalists in the Baldwins Intellectual Property Best Use of Commercialisation for Export Category which recognises:

  • Innovation – strong emphasis on developments new to the market, research and development or other creative endeavour
  • Exemplary and profitable export performance with potential to extend that success
  • Identifiable proprietary rights foundation to export success

Abodo products are created from FSC® certified, sustainably harvested New Zealand plantation forests – and we now export 85% of our products to over 30 countries worldwide.

It’s been a 15 year journey of innovation for Abodo, including patenting a new form of engineered natural wood cladding along with a low toxicity wood preservative – all with the goal of minimising toxicity for people and the environment.

Winners will be announced on June 29 at Sky City Convention Centre.
