Abodo Launches UK Distribution

After years of preparation, Abodo has launched UK distribution in partnership with respected architectural timber company, Glenalmond Timber.

Formally launching on 01 July, the new partnership will service the entire UK and Irish market, with supply from Glenalmond’s new finishing facility combined with direct shipments from New Zealand.

"The UK and Ireland have traditionally relied old growth clear softwoods like Canadian WR Cedar - our mission is to offer the market a truly sustainable alternative. In our partner, Glenalmond, we have found a highly skilled, like minded company ready to spread the message" continues Daniel.

Third generation family owned Glenalmond Timber is gearing up for the launch.

“It was clear to me from the outset that this product had the potential to be disruptor within the timber cladding market. Every box was ticked from sustainability, carbon sequestration, durability class 1 and from price points to aesthetics. With super stable solutions covering all climates from exterior through interior and from small profiles to massive vertical grained laminated beams the options to specifiers are virtually limitless."
