The exterior of the exciting new Vodafone Building in Christchurch will be clad with Abodo’s natural wood Vulcan Cladding.
Internal features and stairs inside the building also feature Vulcan in an architectural showcase by architects Jasmax. Vulcan Cladding was specified as a beautiful, locally sourced solution, with high performance.
The purpose-built four-level facility at 213-221 Tuam St will allow Vodafone to bring together 350 Christchurch staff into one central location, with significant capacity for future expansion and growth, the company says.
The building will have 8300sqm of open plan floor space and will include a retail unit and cafe on the ground floor. It is being built by developer Calder Stewart.
The expected completion date is mid-2016.
Abodo are pleased to announce the appointment of Stevens & Co as an architectural cladding distribution partner in Belgium.
Many wish to reduce their environmental impact when building, and Abodo’s newest addition to the Vulcan Cladding range helps achieve this.
