New Zealand Forest Stewardship Council® Certified Forests Classified as Low Risk

In a recent Centralized National Risk Assessment (CNRA) of New Zealand’s plantation forestry industry, New Zealand forests were classified as low risk.

A CRNA is an assessment of the risk of sourcing wood material from unacceptable sources in a given country, developed according to PSU-PRO-10-002 V1-0 EN The Development and Approval of FSC® Centralized National Risk Assessments.

The full CRNA for New Zealand is available for download from the FSC® website.

Some countries, such as Brazil have been assessed under the NRA framework and have certain concerns.
