Minimising long-term environmental impact was a high priority in this build, which features passive design, a green roof to reduce stormwater run-off, solar panels and high levels of insulation.

In addition, the choice of Abodo’s Vulcan Primed Eco-timber Cladding (in AW62P profile) will further lower the footprint now and into the future. Vulcan timber is FSC® certified and sourced from rapidly renewable sustainable plantations.

The timber is thermally modified which uses heat treatment instead of chemicals, providing a number of benefits for its life on the building - but also means the timber can be returned to the earth at the end of its life, without contributing to lined landfill.

Not only does Vulcan fit the eco-conscious brief, the paint primed finish provides a crisp, clean look for this beautifully designed home.

Abodo’s Sand Decking in Protector - Pearl finish complements the natural build and surroundings, with its silky smooth finish Sand Decking is a genuine eco alternative to hardwood decking.
