A new raking ceiling in Vulcan timber panelling maximises spectacular cliff top views in this renovation project.
The Remuera House is a renovation of an old circa 1960’s brick house.
Where the original house lacked continuity and flow, the new raking ceiling was designed to connect the interior and exterior, at the same time maximising the spectacular cliff top views.
BDG Architects were looking for a natural timber ceiling lining that could continue to exterior soffit.
Abodo’s Vulcan TG9 Panelling was chosen for its natural grain appearance combined with the high stability and natural durability, allowing it to perform well in an exterior application.
